★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an amazing walk up the bench of some beautiful viniards. Once high enough, you get a beautiful view of the valley. I will surely go here again each time I'm in Bolzano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We started from St. Magdalena Church and found out that the trail was blocked shortly before the hotel Eberle. This blockage is due to a earth slide that happened 6 months ago and the wreckage is still not cleaned up. The sign was not clear about the obstruction at all. Otherwise the trail is really beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hillside walk from Runkelstein Castle to the north of the historic center is a lovely and scenic affair, especially on a clear day. It can take 1.5 hours, if walking slowly. The signage is abundant, and the paths are regularly cleared.
