★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is very fascinating to dive into the world of the man in the ice ... the stories told by the audio guide brought live to the exhibited objects.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful exhibit on Otzi, the iceman. They make this incredible discovery of the 5000+ year old man and bring to life his world. Great job of visualizing the science and making enjoyable for everyone. Interesting videos and the signage is fabulous in length so not too much at one time. Keeps crowd moving and making a lot of information able to be retained. Really enjoyed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an amazing museum dedicated to Otzi the Italian ice man found on top of the Italian - Austrian border. It is exhibited over three floors. The exhibition displays the body of Otzi seen through a small glass window on the front of a cold room. The exhibition also shows the clothes and artefacts that Otzi wore and carried at his time of death. You may have to queue. It is possible to book on line but at least 24 hours in advance. A good place for all the family. Well worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The museum itself is very small and very specialized in the history of the northern Italy area and even more specific, almost all about the discovery of Otzie, the man found in the icy mountains dating back over 5,000 years. It's an amazing display but again, the entire museum is almost all about this discovery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most unique museums I have ever seen. Worth an extra effort to get here. The whole story of how it is believed Otzi lived and died, how his body survived 10K years under a glacier, how he was found and the details of his life/death are extraordinary. Spent several hours going through the exhibits and a couple more strolling the town center.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum is really well-organized and utilizes multimedia to make the topic more interesting for the visitors. Make sure you reserve tickets in advance online to save time waiting in line. The lounge at the top floor is also worth a visit, especially for families with kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small but well organized museum. I’d recommend getting the museum audio app for your phone. It’s only $1 and helps to bring the displays to life, plus it allows you to go at your own pace. The first 3 floors are all for Ötzi and the fourth is what I assume to be a rotating exhibit. I didn’t reserve a ticket and had no problems with crowds, but I did go midday on a Tuesday. Bag storage is available too since you can’t bring large bags into the exhibit area.
