Don’t be fooled by the name this little yet fabulous uptown restaurant goes by — ‘osteria’ loosely meaning ‘inn’. Their forte is seafood; their staff, service and selection of wines are a rarity. Go for it!!

Absolutely loved this place and all the food! The hostess was amazing and super friendly, and even taught us a lot about real Italian food. Not a lot of vegetarian options for me but what they had was outstanding. Definitely would come out of here again 10/10

I want to go here again! Our meal was really good and it felt like care and thought had been put into making it. I had the beef cheek and my partner had the sea urchin pasta. We both loved our mains. This is very much a neighborhood restaurant, and out of the way of tourists. I really recommend making the trip to visit here.

While studying abroad, I lived in Monteverde. This restaurant was my favorite place in Monteverde and where I would go to treat myself every once and a while. The two guys that seem to run the show are fun and lively, and they are extremely knowledgable when it comes to food and wine. I had some of my favorite wines and definitely some of my best meals at this restaurant. I would suggest you go with the daily specials when you go. There's a reason they're specials, and the food is very fresh. That being said, their carbonara was also my favorite carbonara I had in Italy, so if you're only going there once, you may need to go with that option. I had a really good ravioli, scallops, pastas, and shrimp off of their specials menu in my time in Rome. This is definitely a locals place, and it can be hard to get seats, as the restaurant is quite small. Highly recommended for anyone in the area, and having a little bit of Italian background would definitely be helpful as the guys running this place don't speak much English.

Excellent service and foods. My partner and I dont speaks Italian, but the hostess speaks perfect english. There were four of us. We had three appetizers to share and 4 main courses. Plus 2 desserts to share. Highly recommended.

I felt so welcome here and the food was amazing. I don’t even want to use the term „the staff“ because it felt much more familiar than that. I would always come back :)
