★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First thing first: this is a revolutionary trattoria for being open for seven days a week. Must be one of a kind. Coming to essence: don’t expect much ambiance in this traditional Roman trattoria but enjoy the food and the prices and the good service. It is a great example of a traditional Roman trattoria where food comes first. Their pizzas are right out from the oven, crunchy and tasty. They offer fresh fish, coming from nearby Anzio, fried or served with sauce. They also serve Argentine beef. It is triumph of kitsch when it comes to decor like most of Roman trattorias but when it comes to food they do miracles. Most clientele is neighborhood residences. Not a single tourist maybe some expats. If you want to experience how Italians eat, worthwhile to make a trip to this neighborhood and your cab money will pay off.
