Flavors of tradition. Dishes prepared with care and portions more than adequate. We ate very well, without spending a lot of money, in a cozy and characteristic place

Ci siamo trovati veramente bene.
We really enjoyed it. Typical and welcoming place. Excellent appetizers, I recommend the marinated eel. The first very good as well as the second excellent the cockerel with apples.

In the beautiful San Michele square in the center of Cremona a gem ... a bar / tavern from the past with typical traditional dishes. A bi-good scent and an extraordinary hospitality welcome you, even the customers make the difference (no botox)

Tipica cucina casalinga.
Typical home cooking. We particularly liked the pumpkin ravioli. The appetizers are also good: cold cuts, cheeses, eel. The latter perhaps a bit expensive. Too bad the lack of boiled meat even if it is included in the menu. Fair value for money.

Consiglio
I travel a lot for work. Here in Cremona I discovered this small island of taste and courtesy by chance. Lunch menu € 14 with a choice of dishes cooked and prepared with care and choice of raw materials. The house wine, unlike most places, is pleasant and drinkable with pleasure. Treated well, for price and taste. And the location contributes to the pleasantness of the choice! Clean bathrooms (those who go around know the importance of this emphasis). Advise

Meh. This place may be on a square in front of a church, but in contrast to reports on TripAdvisor this doesn't provide atmosphere. The street between the osteria and its outdoor seating is a major artery by central town Italian standards. Overall the quality of the food didn't match the prices. The marinated eggplant appetizer was good. The pasta with olives and lettuce (of some sort. No kidding) was flavorless as was the beef carpaccio secondi. The meringue for dessert was good, but it came with no fruit, sauce, or anything else to complement the meringue-ness of it all. The red wine by the glass was fine and met its highly reasonable price point. The high point was the service. The people were very nice. Maybe a different set of dishes? The place was certainly filled with locals. If it weren't for the fact I've already found much tastier options I would consider giving this place another try

Best meal I've had in Italy so far. It pretty much tastes like their is an Italian grandma in the kitchen. You won't find any food like this in the states, that's for sure.
