★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a local unpretentious Italian dining experience this is the only place to come. The quality and taste of the food is awesome, the best meal we had on the whole trip.
The caponata & pasta with anchovies where divine.
We were a couple & had a starter, main & half litre of wine for around €30 by far the best value meal we had in the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool vibe outside! It was very busy when we went, got sat inside and almost forgotten about until after we finally ordered. Then food came fast. Their Mellanzane appetizer is amazing. The rest of our food was so-so: either way too oily or way too salty. The bread is very good though, and their white house wine pretty nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are around during spring, try the artichoke. It is extremely delicious. I had fried pasta with eggplants and tomato as the main dish, loved it. Amazing tiramisu. The waiters don't speak English perfectly but they are friendly and they help you with the menu. Great place for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice local restaurant in the middle of the downtown. We booked the table few days ahead and were lucky since all the places were reserved! The food is very tasty and you can find all the stypes of Sicilian dishes you would like to try. The prices are rational very good value for the money, highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite touristy but very good prices and the option to try many typical Sicilian dishes. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to sit outside. We sat inside and the atmosphere is not as nice. The baked pasta is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked it a lot; caponata really good. They have so many clients and you need a reservation (sometimes, same day reservation works too but it’s not a guarantee). Staff is friendly and they move around fast; everything is in a rush there. I would definitely go back.
