★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agree, little gem. Waiting staff really helpful and interested in helping you choose. Not just seafood, we had great tagliata (beef) as well as the house seafood appetisers, excellent and the stuffed sea bass for main. Wonderful wine recommended, thoroughly enjoyed Sunday lunch. And lovely situation looking into the square with yet more incredible church architecture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came because it looked welcoming with nicely decorated tables. Guess we should have suspicious that this place it so empty despite being located in a lively neighborhood.
We had an aperitivo. It came without a snack, which is standard in Italy. And the aperitivo wasn't high quality either.
To sum it up: tourist trap!
Two stars for being well located and friendly staff.

If not only for the wonderful food and the service, the square that we could watch was so picturouse. All in all it was lovely

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic restaurant. Great little gem in a pretty pedestrian square in Palermo. All neighboring restaurants appear to be very touristy. This one is for locals and gourmets at large. We went two nights in a row as the first night experience was so good that we really didn’t feel like risking to end up in a less exciting venue. I chose the chef’s specialty, wild salmon marinated in salt sugar and pink pepper, followed by sea bass in guazzetto. Both delicate and tasty. My partner chose baby squid in tomato sauce and we were given caponata di swordfish to try (they substituted aubergines with swordfish). A wonderful dish. All this was served with great wine and followed by local desserts. The Bill came up to €75, really good value for the excellent meal. Service was excellent. We got to meet the chef who is really passionate about his job and his main waiter who also helps with fresh ingredients sourcing. They were so kind as to provide us with fleece as the weather got chilly while we are dressed less warmly than needed. We both thoroughly enjoyed both dinners and will without shadow of a doubt go back next time in Palermo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best squid I tried in Palermo. Kept ordering squids for dinner for the rest of my stay in the city, but none was like that first one. Pasta was beautiful, antipasti innovative and delicious. Definitely worth a visit!
