β β β β β The Antonino Salinas Regional Archeological Museum (Italian: Museo Archeologico Regionale Antonino Salinas) is a museum in Palermo, Italy. It possesses one of the richest collections of Punic and Ancient Greek art in Italy, as well as many items related to the history of Sicily.

β β β β β I would highly recommend visiting this museum, especially if you have an interest in ancient history. They have a rich collection of artifacts and provide good insight into the greek and roman history of Sicily. The exhibition setup allows for free exploration and there are also charming courtyards to relax in. The museum is also air conditioned and children under 18 can enter for free. This place is well worth visiting while in Palermo.

β β β β β We came here on a Sunday, the lady at the ticket counter was very nice, (they also have a breakfast deal for 1.5 Euro extra.) So get a coffee and a croissant and be ready to be amazed by the artifacts of ancient Sicily. It is fascinating to see the architectural, burial, and everyday artifacts of the Greek, Roman, Phonecian and other civilisations that thrived on this island. It is worth the admission and the experience, choose this over the Norman castle ;)

β β β β β Small museum but with a great quantity of ancient artifacts. You can see pottery, statues, and all kind of human created objects.

β β β β β Entrance fee is β¬6 but the museum is quite small. There is a beautiful quiet garden in the center where you can sit. They have very interesting pieces to check out and also very cute turtles!

β β β β β Exceeded our expectations! Tons of ancient Elymian artifacts, plus later Greek & Phoenician artifacts from Palermo's early years, and a pretty gardened courtyard to take a break in between exhibits. A significantly larger collection than we expected, too.

β β β β β Quite a relaxed and easy going museum with a lot of things. Very clean and well organised, but a little bit monotonous. The garden (inside) offers some space to relax and unwind. The turtles ?are very cute!
