★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice trattoria, with mostly Italian customers. The recommendation came from the owner of the Coltelleria up the street, who arrived with his family as I was finishing up?.
Nothing fancy, but very good tasting food. I had Pasta con ragu, and patate arrosto, e fagioli e olio di Olivia. Attentive service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great classic Tuscan dishes served fast and courteously for decent prices. Beware huge portions, consider splitting. Can't miss: polenta fritta con funghi, arista con fagioli (incredibly tasty), 2017 Morellino di Scansano (Young, impertinent, great value for money).

The food here comes with no fuss. Everything is very rustic with the freshest taste. Sometimes the chef even comes out of the kitchen to serve you. The main waiter/manager is the loveliest person on earth, extremely accommodating and polite. The penne alla amatricciana was so good as well as the fegato crostini (chicken liver toast)
The tiramisu wasn’t available that night but we got served a very yummy gooey chocolate cake instead.
My girlfriend took the fried chicken and chips which perhaps was the only disappointing dish, due to the chicken being a bit dry and tasteless.
Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone passing by! And don’t forget to book!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consistently good, fresh and homey food for a fabulously fair price. Servers are polite, kind, and accommodating and the chef often brings out the dishes himself. The desserts are always a hit, and the fegato crostini shouldn’t be missed. Every dish is made with what’s in season, and I’ve never been dissatisfied. I highly recommend it, it’s one of our top go-to spots.
