The dishes looked interesting and peculiar, from gelato made with bread to duck breast paired with peaches. As we ordered, we received a welcome mini starter that was delicious (and the best part of our meal). Unfortunately, the rest of the dinner didn’t go as we expected: the staff was nice but we waited over 30 minutes for receiving the starters we ordered and over a hour after that for the main courses. The owner told us they were particularly understaffed that evening and apologized for that. Concerning the meal, while all the ingredients were fresh and the food looked really good, the taste was nothing special and the duck breast was a bit overcooked. I don’t know if we have been just unlucky but our overall experience has not been positive.

The waiter was very attentive, helped to match the wine and invited for a little antipasti and an Italian liqueur. Located a little away from the trying noise, it made a perfect choice for a warm summer night.

This place is amazing, the Service is the best you'll have for a while and the food is delicious! In top of that, it is super clean and the prices are more than fair. M	Musson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first night in Firenze, made perfect thanks to the friendly and accommodating service provided here. Looking forward to our next visit already. Food was faultless, fresh and authentic. My girlfriend had the special "Black Risotto" which admittedly made me jealous, but took nothing away from my own potato ravioli which were delicious. The warm, fresh bread was also dangerously tasty... we had two bags to ourselves! The wine we chose was delicious, a chianti from the Machiavelli distillery and as the first glasses we had were quite warm due to the ambient temperature in the city, our kind waiter served us another glass once the wine had cooled off, free of charge - an incredibly kind gesture. The most outstanding aspect of our evening was by far the service provided by our waiter, the chef who came to see if we were satisfied and the gentlemen working around the restaurant. He had noticed that we took an interest in a photo depicting the calcio storico, and gave us a booklet showing the event over the years - Thank you sir for your attentiveness! Good English, very reasonable prices, top quality and excellent service. Top recommendation for a meal outside of the busy, touristy areas.
