★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although, it was a Saturday night and all other places we tried before were fully booked, they squeezed us in! The waiters are absolutely lovely, so was the food and portions were very generous (depends on dish though) and tasty. We received a glass of prosecco & an amuse bouche offered by the restaurant! I would highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Four and a half stars only because all other meals I had in Bologna were perfection (I am very very choosy!). The slow cooked beef was unbelievably good! Steak was perfect. Wine selection is amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent friendly service, wine was great. Pasta and local dishes in general very good, the cotoletta Bolognese was superb and the pasta dishes also, only the duck let it down a little (lacked a little the orange) and the brodo is good but a little light. Overall i think it is 4.5

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful Bolognese osteria in a nice part of town. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, starting with the cute lantern on the facade of the building. The food is very good, on the classier side for an osteria sometimes, but still very Bolognese and definitely delicious. Good wine, excellent bread. Definitely recommended.

I was expecting this great service and warming hospitality from an Osteria. I gotta say, I wouldn’t expect it even from a restaurant.
The manager and the waiter were so friendly and attentive. They just knew what they were doing!
The ambience just amazing. It reminds me of the old Osterias of Bologna. It still gives you that unique antique vibe that only few still have around the city.
Last but not least, the food. Just amazing. The cotoletta alla petroniana, the typical cotoletta of Bologna was out of this world. It was crispy, tender, juicy, and all the flavours were right on point where you wanted them. The perfect balance. And what about the truffle. Just an impeccable touch that makes this dish unique!
It was a very unexpected and great discovery! Super ultra recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was in the local style, well prepared and the flavours were delicious. Wine was fantastic and very reasonably priced, and the amuse bouche at the start of the meal was a nice touch. The staff were great too. It was so good we returned two days later. Totally worth a visit!
