J	Jason Sputnik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just check the picture (but not only that) to understand my disappointment. Pepata di cozze was served barely warm to cold... Okay maybe they do it this way? Then check the picture of the roasted octopus: one thing is serving it cooked, another serving it BURNT and dry as heck. Since I love octopus, I've eaten it countless times (check also previous reviews), and I know when it's not properly cooked, this was just burnt. Barely edible in some parts, rest was good for the trashcan only. I have the suspicion I've been served a leftover which was cooked a second time. I would mention only the polpette di podolica as a worthy plate. To sum it up in my experience this restaurant, considered among the best in Ostuni, was a very bad culinary experience... And it isn't cheap either, but the location is nice. I was unlucky in Ostuni I guess, thanks God everywhere else in Puglia was leap and bounds better in quality when it came to restaurants.

He asked why I did not answer my phone when he tried to confirm the reservation… how many people answer unrecognized phone #’s anymore. Also, he wanted to take our order within 60-90 seconds of sitting down- odd, yes and welcoming- no. I would strongly recommend you choose from one of several excellent Ostuni restaurants, which would welcome you and avoid the harsh manner in which this restaurant serves its customers.

But the food is not a value for money. We ate much better pasta during our Apulian trip and we never paid that much. 2 glasses of local wine, 1 small starter, 2 spaghetti and the price was 72eur. But we felt good, so don’t want to complain at all ;-)

The pork chop and the tuna steak were both good, but we thought the other things served might have been better so go for the other options!! But all of it was wonderful. The waiter was awesome!
A	Amanda Rivkin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW!!!!! Dare I say this was the best pasta dish I’ve ever had in my entire life; the orecchiette with the yellow tomato sauce. I can’t stop telling people about it. My friend and I were literally fighting over it. Also insane burrata with the crispy vermicelli noodles and the ribs with the honey sauce. One of my most favorite meals in memory. Love the cave setting, super cool.

The food was great, typical from the south and the staff were very friendly and helfpul. Great experience
