★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint hostel tucked in the streets of Verbania! Rooms are neat and organized, staff is friendly, restrooms are clean. Breakfast in the morning consisted of options (cereal, meat, cheese, bread, coffee, etc.) A great option for a reasonable price!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice staff, rooms, bathrrom/showers. Great sights, and well situated, very close to Pallanza and the lake, but quiet at the same time. The only problem was finding a plug to charge phones/laptops (there wer some, but few). Good experience anyway!

Although I faced a disrespectful attitude from the receptionist, when I complained about it to the manager he showed understanding and promised an improvement.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was awful they gave us pasta more than 20 times during our 10 days. The rooms are extremely small and the service is also the worst. They didn’t care about cleaning up or listening to our feedback. There was also no heating system, so we were shivering all the time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hostel is comfortable and neat. The staff are extremely friendly and helped with every information required. The breakfast served is good too. The rooms with balcony opens out to a beautiful view of the lake and church.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude, aggressive and unhelpful receptionist! I left one day earlier because of her unacceptable behaviour. It is far away from the city center and the boat station. It is hard and tiring to arrive at the hostel because of the uphill location. Hard and long time access from train station. There are many children parties in the garden and they woke me up. There is no wifi available in the rooms, it is available only at the waiting room. Very incense heat in the dorms during the summer (definitely they must buy air conditions). Definitely this hostel must not be visited. I don't recommend it.
