★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wifi is terrible and there’s no sponge to wash the dishes with the much dillued soap. We were supposed to be in a 6-persons dorm and got placed in a 2 meters square room with a really old bunk bed that squicked at every move. The comon area to chill or eat is really small and it’s the only spot where the wifi is able to work. At least, the price is ok if you book on hostelgalaxy it will be around 25-30 euros. The 3 euros Venice tax per person per night is not included. There is no laundry service nor any possibility to eat breakfast as stated on hostelgalaxy. Ah, also there are bed bugs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mosquitoes and BED BUGS!!
Worst hostel I've stayed in. They only give you a bottom sheet and pillow case, no top sheet. I woke up with 30 itchy bed bug bites all over my body. The only good thing about this hostel is the rooftop patio, but not worth the stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Place is great for the money. Location is 5 minutes from the Grand Canal and 10 fro San Marcos Plaza. There are a bit of stairs but the proprietor is happy to lug the bags, the commons are spatious and comfortable, kitchen is small but does the job. Rooms are clean and beds are nice. The view from the roof is epic. Staff os curteous, friendly and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here with my girlfriend to see the biennale. At first we were kinda scared there were scorpions like one of the other comments said, but when we arrived and saw it wasn't the Sahara, we felt better and in the end we saw not a single scorpion.
The hostel is very reasonably priced and its location is perfect! Just outside the tourist area, but near the Giardini and Arsenal of the Biennale, as well as the San Marco. On top of that the staff is very nice and it is very clean.
On the other hand we found only one bathroom (didn't check the other floors for more though), and the kitchen is quite small. But the single bathroom wasn't really a big problem in the end and a small kitchen is better than none at all (which is what we expected for the price).
In the end it was a really great experience, only to be completed with a roof-top terrace, air-conditioning, and the staff being so nice that we were transferred to a 2 person room from a 6 person room because they thought we might like it better. Would 100% recommend as a nice budget option for visitting Venice!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cheap hostel at only €20 a night (if you book through hostelgalaxy). They were very friendly and helpful, and gave us lots of info and advice about what to do while in Venice. The rooms were sparse but had everything you would need, even air conditioning. There was also a small kitchen that we could use. Overall pretty good for the cost. Very happy to have stayed here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hostel. Definitely recommend it for your trip to Venice. The staff were very polite and friendly. They provided me with a map and explained the different tourist places. The hostel also has kitchen facilities and the room was well kept. The bathroom had adequate facilities and was very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This hostels service made my stay in Venice amazing. They provide a map and take the time to give you insider tips to save money and enjoy the city. From booking through galaxy hostels for cheapest rates to getting a 24hr ferry pass for 20euros. This allowed me to ride the entire grand Canal and see both of the not to miss islands away from Venice. Also, ride to and from the train station/bus terminal. Even told me where to get groceries and cheap, fresh, delicious pizza.
The hostel itself wasn't the greatest. It was quite rundown, but did provide a decent place to sleep for a reasonable price. The location was perfect. I do recommend using bug spray at night if your worries about bites. Few blood suckers still alive before it get really cold. Overall I highly recommend staying here.
