★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello Orsini Colonna di Avezzano si trova in piazza Castello, vicino al parco cittadino ma non proprio in centro. Esternamente ha ancora ben evidenti le strutture originarie con quattro torrioni ma, internamente, è solo adibito a sala da concerto con un ampio palco e circa un centinaio di sedie a sedere, le strutture originarie sono state sostituite con travi d'acciaio.
The Orsini Colonna di Avezzano castle is located in Piazza Castello, near the city park but not right in the center. Externally, the original structures with four towers are still evident but, internally, it is only used as a concert hall with a large stage and about a hundred seats, the original structures have been replaced with steel beams.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passeggiata pomeridiana ad Avezzano, bella località a N-O della conca del Fucino ricca di storia e fascino a cui è difficile sottrarsi. Tra palazzo Torlonia, attuale sede municipale e il castello Orsini-Colonna, la località si apre ai turisti con le sue botteghe, l'enogastronomia e varie attività commerciali per appuntamenti indimenticabili. Da ritornarci.
Afternoon walk in Avezzano, a beautiful town N-W of the Fucino basin rich in history and charm which is difficult to escape. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meriterebbe un 5 stelle, purtroppo non siamo potuti entrare perché chiuso, e non c'erano orari e numeri da poter chiamare. Altro neo, la siepe alta non tagliata, impedisce una buona visuale. Comunque molto bello e tenuto bene
