While there I wanted to buy an Italian fountain pen to mark the visit. I walked in and Marco patiently showed me multiple brands and models until I settled on an Aurora that I loved. ABSOLUTELY stop in to Novelli -- you won't be disappointed!

The sales person was very helpful and friendly and was able to discuss with me the different top Italian brands and their models available at the store, which helped me decide in buying several pens. They have an excellent choice of pens and I found the prices to be very competitive.

They welcomed me inside and spent the next hour discussing my writing style, budget, and how I planned to use this pen- bringing out model after model for me to try out. I found a beautiful model, perfect for my tiny handwriting, and never felt pressured for time or to purchase outside of my price range. What an amazing place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect Pipe store in the heart of Rome.
The owner is very knowledgeable about all manner of pipes (and pens but my expertise there is lacking, they were all beautiful). we had a long conversation into his lunchtime about all types of pipes from many of the best and most known manufacturers, he even has some funny collectible ones such as a pipe that looks like a ducks head when turned upside down and a pipe that is actually carved to be smoke upside down, neither one a poor quality pipe. I myself collect so I only got a nice Italian-made pipe as a memento but if I am ever on the mainland again I will definitely use his store to increase my collection. I even considered heavily going back and buying another one for my wife and she doesn't even smoke!
