Beautiful graves and in between cats from the animal shelter running around :) Enter at the location of the cemetery marked on the map, the other entrances are closed even during opening times.

Very beautiful and peaceful place in the middle of Rome. A lot of famous people are buried here (e.g. Shelley). This cemetery is a must see.

One of the most intriguing hidden gems of Rome. A non-catholic cemetery where prominent and ordinary people from different nations are buried. The cemetery is very well taken care of and the tombstones are literally pieces of artisanship. Indeed this places has a unique atmosphere! Do not miss it if you ever come to this area.

I love this peaceful place so much. Nestled behind the pyramid, a peaceful resting place awaits. This dubs as a kitty sanctuary too. TIPS: 1.) BRING KITTY FOOD AND SPEND SOME TIME INTERACTING. It's wonderful. 2.) Also bring water and a snack. You will be here longer than you think.

The main reason I planned to visit this cemetery was the Angel of Grief but after I went, I realized that despite the small area of the cemetery and perhaps the most famous monument, there is still much to see. Although the sights of Rome and the surrounding area are many, I definitely recommend that you take some time to visit this cemetery!

Beautiful and serene. My teenage daughter loved finding all of the cats. You can tell the cats are cared for.

This graveyard is so much more than the simple name tells us. It is a piece of roman history , of the story non Catholic people were expelled from town for their burial for hundreds of years. Also, it is a beautiful parc , the place where Keats, Shelley, the son of Goethe and many others are laid to rest. Tombstones from the 18th and 19th century add more to the flair. In summer a cool place to breath fresh air. The graveyard is still in use , entry is free - unless you want to be buried here which is expensive!!! Definitely worth a visit, ideally with a guide.

Perhaps the most beautiful and enchanting cemetery I’ve ever been to in my entire life. I came to pay my respects at tombs of the English poets John Keats and Percy Shelley, as well as at the burial site of the American poet Gregory Corso. It was a moving trip in that respect, but I was not prepared for the overwhelming beauty of this place. It is a must-see, whether you are interested in poetry or not. The stonework on some of the graves is incredible. The famous weeping angel (Angel of Grief), lying over Emelyn Story’s tomb, is the cherry on the top of this graveyard. I loved every moment here in this uniquely enthralling place of final rest.
