Roma insieme al Comune si stanno impegnando per riqualificare la zona e ricreare qualcosa che ricordi il mitico stadio, magari ridando uno spazio per lo sport a tutto il quartiere. "Campo Testaccio, c'hai tanta gloria..."
Each team should preserve its roots and safeguard tradition. S. Rome together with the Municipality are working to redevelop the area and recreate something that recalls the mythical stadium, perhaps giving back a space for sport to the whole neighborhood. "Campo Testaccio, you have so much glory ..."

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non avevo nessuna idea che il vecchio campo della Roma fosse proprio qui, nonostante ci passo molto spesso per via Zabaglia per andare nei locali di Via Monte Testaccio. Sicuramente in questo stadio, nel cuore di Roma Sud, la Roma giocava veramente in casa. Lo Stadio Olimpico si trova nel Quartiere della Vittoria, nel cuore di Roma Nord, in casa della Lazio quindi. È comprensibile che la Roma voglia tornare a giocare nel suo feudo, a Roma Sud, costruendo lo stadio nuovo a Tor Di Valle. Non è proprio Testaccio ma sarebbe comunque molto più identitario e rappresentativo.
I had no idea that the old Roma pitch was right here, despite the fact that I often pass through via Zabaglia to go to the bars in Via Monte Testaccio. Surely in this stadium, in the heart of South Rome, Roma really played at home. The Olympic Stadium is located in the Vittoria district, in the heart of Northern Rome, therefore in the home of Lazio. It is understandable that Rome wants to return to play in its fiefdom, in South Rome, by building the new stadium in Tor Di Valle. It is not really Testaccio but it would still be much more identifying and representative.
