★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quirky place far from any usual Rome attractions. Area its in is a huge parc, situated outside central Rome, by the historical Via Appia. There were actual sheep grazing there...
Interesting history, and not far from there there are a couple of catacombs you can visit.
If you like places outside the beaten path this area is perfect as it many ancient roman ruins scattered all across
The area its in might be a bit shady if you dont exit by the usual places. I would avoid going alone and after sunset. Also wouldnt go if it rains as paths are not paved.
