β β β β β An extraordinary area with a wealth of wildlife in Rome. While surrounded by busy roads and housing estates the Tenuta makes any walker feel as if they are in the country. In Spring sheep graze there as in the neighbouring Caffarella Park. There's a stream, volcanic caves, a small verdant wood ( beware the snakes) and bushes of rosemary, apple trees, pear trees and towards the end of summer blackberries. Well worth a stroll!
