★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a booking a day in advance, my sister, mother and I all had shellac manicures at Nailbar Gamax. We had an amazing experience and I can honestly say it is the best manicure I have had in a long time, maybe ever. The service was fabulous, and all the girls very friendly - they do very well to overcome any language barriers. May seem a bit pricey but the quality of service is very much worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Found this nail bar using google reviews during my trip to Rome and extremely happy! The ladies are all lovely. I had a manicure and shellac done. It was a little bit more expensive than I’m used to but definitely worth it, the nail technician was so friendly and her work was extremely neat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They did a good job on my nails, but.... and this is an observation of all nail salons I have been to in Italy, not just this one... but the chairs are extremely uncomfortable. The pedi chairs have very straight backs and don't recline. The services include almost no massage or luxurious products. The water is like warm at best and they only put about 2 inches of water in the bowl. I alao asked if they had water for their guests and they said yes. I asked for aqua frissante thinking they would bring me a bottle of sparkling water. What I got was about 2 sips of tap water in a plastic cup. They said the pedi would be 35 euros when I booked. When I checked out, they said it was 50 euros. They said the additional charge was to remove my gel polish.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just love this place. Products used are high quality and best service is provided. Girls are very nice. I personally enjoy Matilda as she is very, very kind and helpful and gives also great advises about colours and styles. Also, this NailBar respects all the measures put in place to limit the spread of the virus COVID-19, which is wonderful. So if you are in town and you need your nails done just give it a try, it’s just off Piazza Venezia or Piazza Argentina. I’m highly recommend it !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my brows tinted and shaped as well as eye lashes laminated. Sophia was attentive, professional and knowledgeable; she explained everything to me since I had never done this procedure before . I was amazed at the results … brows were perfect and my lashes were dark and curled - no need for mascara! I will definitely be back !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am from San Francisco, CA living in Rome and traveling throughout Italy for a few months on holiday, and desperately needed a gel manicure. I had one in Sorrento at a 5-star hotel spa and it was fine, but not as good as the ladies here at Nail Bar Gamax. The ladies here were kind enough to communicate with me in English, made me feel very comfortable and I also got a 25 minute massage. Some reviewers say the price is expensive but for me from San Francisco, 80 Euros for a gel manicure + massage is a very fair price! Especially for how lovely and professional they were. Thank you, ladies!! I will definitely be back soon.
