★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely the worst manicure experience I’ve had in my life! Avoid at all costs!!
I gave this place two chances. The first time, they didn’t do an amazing job, but it sufficed and the location was convenient. When I returned, however, I realized how much they had filed down my nails so that they were all so weak. They also rushed me because they had another customer who came in and demanded an appointment, and the girl who did me kept filing way too hard, and then asking if it was too hard. When I said yes, she either would continue at the same pressure or laugh. This was not a pleasant experience, and at the end, I still paid and didn’t say anything, but the girl wouldn’t even say goodbye after my friend and I spent 150€ and said goodbye and thank you.
Overall, it’s overpriced, they ruin your nails, and are extremely rude, even though we could speak Italian and communicate. Find somewhere else!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That was hard to find a vacant place for manicure&pedicure in the downtown. Though it was a workaday.
So Tong Tong was the only one free next day from 5 other salons I’ve appealed to.
PLUSES:
1. They speak English in contrast with many others. So you can easily make an appointment by the phone.
2. Quickly. I had a short time and girls did mani&pedi together with four hands.
It took 1 hour ( with removing gel and covering again).
3. Huge amount of gel’s colors.
4. They didn’t cut me ( they work with scissors instead of machine).
MINUSES:
1. They don’t work with the machine at all.
2. I haven’t seen the craft-bags for the sterilization.
2. It wasn’t a super high quality. They remove gel with liquid ( instead of machine).
3. Not so comfy/clean inside.
4. Expensive for that quality. 80 €

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom was visiting me in Rome and we wanted to treat ourselves and get our nails done. Our experience was such a huge disappointment:
1. All of the staff were extremely rude and unfriendly. They don’t seem to understand the concept of customer service. People come for a relaxing, enjoyable experience and a negative, rude atmosphere makes a big difference, I’m really surprised the management allows its staff to behave in such an unpleasant way..
2. The lady doing my pedi literally placed the scrub on my foot and immediately dumped it in the water, didn’t bother to rub it in, scrub nothing..when I asked her about it, she was very unpleasant and dismissive.
3. The other lady doing my mani asked me if she had the right color for my nails, when I said I was unsure and best if I see the palette I chose from, she was complaining to her friend as she got the palette and literally through it on the table. I couldn’t believe it.
4. Not to mention it was a hot summers day we asked for a glass of water and they just ignored us...
5. It was extremely expensive over 200€ for the kind of service and product you get, it’s a complete rip off
Conclusion: Never ever again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Without a doubt the WORST nails I’ve ever had done. Went in to replace 3 acrylics which cost 21 euros !!! Took over an hour and the nails are bent, misshapen and do not match the rest. Customer service so rude they were laughing in my face

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a pedicure and semi permanent (shellac) manicure. The semi-permanent manicure did not even last one week. During the appointment the staff were quite rude and made me bleed multiple times by cutting my cuticles way to short - very painful!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was traveling from the US and desperately needed to get a manicure. This place was right next to my hotel, and they gave me the best gel manicure of my life! The nail technician was soo exacting and did my nails perfectly. Very friendly and reasonable price.
