L'arte non comprende soltanto dipinti, potrebbero e dovrebbero essere esposte anche altre forme d'arte: sculture, fotografie, libri, ecc. ecc. A small and modest museum. All'ingresso ci sono due sale e poi la reception con il personale addetto alle informazioni. Dal piano terra si accede alla sala conferenze nell'interrato, tramite una scala alquanto ripida. Oltre la reception un'ulteriore sala e la scala per l'accesso al piano superiore che, solitamente, ospita mostre di pittura. L'organizzazione degli spazi interni lascia molto a desiderare, anche per l'illuminazione artificiale poco curata, che pure è fondamentale per la corretta visione delle opere pittoriche e scultoree. Prima di far visita occorre sempre telefonare per accertarsi che sia aperto e in quali orari. Museum between the seafront and Piazza Primo Maggio, with public gardens on the side facade. Beyond the reception, another room and the staircase leading to the upper floor which usually hosts painting exhibitions. The organization of the interior spaces leaves much to be desired, even for the poorly maintained artificial lighting, which is also fundamental for the correct vision of the pictorial and sculptural works. Before visiting, you should always call to make sure it is open and at what times.

Invece un addetto al personale ci ha informati che è chiuso da tempo perché non ci sono mostre temporanee in corso. Alla nostra osservazione che trattasi di museo con una collezione permanente, non c'è stata giustificazione alcuna. Riprovevole! We went to the museum which was open from the site. Instead a staff member informed us that it has been closed for some time because there are no temporary exhibitions going on. To our observation that it is a museum with a permanent collection, there was no justification. Reprehensible!
P	Primo Socionovi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Museo d'Arte Moderna di Pescara (Abruzzi) e' dedicato alla Marchesa Vittoria Colonna, Nobildonna Pescarese e al Marchese D'Avalos, il Museo ha l'ingresso su via Gramsci e l'affaccio sul mare, di fronte la "Sirenetta", storico Stabilimento balneare e ristorante di pesce. L' Edificio, distrutto nel 1943 a causa dell'evento bellico, ospitava il glorioso Circolo Tennis, poi dismesso. Ricostruito sulla stessa area, l'edificio ospito' per diverso tempo, alcune facolta' del Glorioso Ateneo Pescarese, oggi trasferitosi in viale Pindaro, zona Stadio Adriatico della citta'. Dai "cassetti" della mia memoria di 69 anni, ricordo con nostalgia, i pomeriggi danzanti, che gli stessi universitari di allora organizzavano, con sfoggio di gruppi musicali, tra i quali ricordo i "NASSA", che suonavano al tempo dei Beatles, lentacci pazzeschi, che le coppiette ballavano avvinghiate, nella sala sottostante il piano terra, dove c'erano delle grate dove entrava l'aria del mare, che arieggiava l'ambiente pregno di "Gioventu'.Nel 2002, viene effettuata una risistemazione delle stanze, e adibito a Museo, dove attualmente "Vive", una mostra di opere pittoriche dei grandi pittori contemporanei. Ci sono dei giorni dedicati alle visite. Luogo ideale per i cultori della Pittura e delle Opere d'Arte in genere, come sculture in marmo e in bronzo. Ambiente elegante e sapientemente Diretto dall'Amministrazione Comunale di Pescara.!
