Si entra con lo stesso biglietto della Rocca Albornoziana. This Narni city museum is truly a wonderful surprise. Remarkable archaeological finds and a beautiful picture gallery. You enter with the same ticket as the Rocca Albornoziana.

Ospita le maggiori opere pittoriche, scultoree e archeologiche che permettono la ricostruzione della storia della città (la Narnia romana, il Medioevo a Narni). La biglietteria è anche punto di informazioni e di accoglienza e da notizie su orari di aperture per la visita dei beni artistici, eventi ed iniziative in città e nel territorio. Al Museo è possibile prenotare percorsi guidati in tutto il centro storico. Palazzo Eroli, ricca residenza nobiliare narnese, diviene anche una perfetta cornice per mostre temporanee da affiancare alla collezione museale. Il Museo è diviso in due sezioni: l’archeologica, che comprende reperti dalla preistoria all’epoca medievale, e la Pinacoteca, con opere datate dal XIV al XVIII secolo. Tra le opere più interessanti possiamo ammirare: “L’Incoronazione della Vergine” di Domenico Ghirlandaio, “L’Annunciazione” di Benozzo Gozzoli, la “Mummia egizia e il sarcofago ligneo” decorato ed infine la “Coppa bronzea della Fontana di Piazza dei Priori” del 1303. The Museum System and the Museum of Palazzo Eroli of Narni (TR) and of the Territory is located in the historic center, behind the Town Hall. It houses the major pictorial, sculptural and archaeological works that allow the reconstruction of the city's history (the Roman Narnia, the Middle Ages in Narni). The ticket office is also a point of information and reception and news on opening times for the visit of artistic assets, events and initiatives in the city and in the territory. At the Museum it is possible to book guided tours throughout the historic center. Palazzo Eroli, a rich Narnese noble residence, also becomes a perfect setting for temporary exhibitions to be added to the museum collection. The Museum is divided into two sections: the archeology, which includes artifacts from prehistoric to medieval times, and the Pinacoteca, with works dating from the 14th to the 18th century. Beautiful museum especially for the Egyptian sarcophagus and its mummy. Under the display case but visible from very close. My daughter was thrilled.

Personale disponibile e cortese. Le guide audio non hanno alcun supporto con quello che provano a spiegare. Sarebbe stato sufficiente mettere dei cartellini plastificati con la relativa numerazione cui l'audio fa riferimento nei vari ambienti visitati. Disorganizzazione totale . Apart from the Ghirlandaio building, the museum is very poorly organized and of little importance for the works and artifacts kept. Audio guides have no support with what they try to explain. It would have been sufficient to put plastic cards with the relative numbering to which the audio refers in the various environments visited. Total disorganization.

Utile l'audioguida offerta nel prezzo del biglietto, comunque assai contenuto 6 euro... An unforgettable little cultural gem in a city already rich in proposals, such as Narni. Excellent set-up and museum tour. The audio guide offered in the ticket price is useful, however very low 6 euros ...
