★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic sculpture garden with a unique history. This was our main reason for visiting Bomarzo and it was definitely worth it. Getting a guide helped us appreciate each sculpture more. Consider coming early to have more of the park to yourself

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 11€ entrance, free parking. In reception, you will be given a map with numbers to follow. They have it in English as well. There's a toilet and a picnic area. A barbecue grill was there but not sure if it's possible to use.
It’s a unique 16th-century garden, owned by Pier Orsini, it was made by grief when his wife passed away. It was neglected during the 19th century but when a Spanish painter made a movie and painted about the park the Bettini family restored the beauty of the park in 1950 since today the garden is preserved and a major attraction in Bomarzo.
A great story behind it. I recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited while traveling in Italy with my wife in 2022. This is a pretty amazing place. The art is fantastical and like nothing else I’ve seen. When you consider the time period it’s totally unique. They have free parking and a nice restaurant to eat lunch at. Clean bathrooms.

In July my family and I visited Bomarzo, in the center of Italy and in particular the gorgeous
Park of the Monsters, which really exceeded our expectations!
The Park of Monsters is anible garden created during the 16th century by a rich mercenary in remembrance of his dead wife.
The park is full of huge, grotesque statues and weird buildings half-hidden among the old and bright vegetation. The result? Just a magical and mysterious atmosphere. You definitely can't visit this park without your hand holding a camera.
I really loved this place for its stunning monuments of course, but for its peacefulness as well. I particularly appreciated the park's green meadow, perfect for a picnic or just to chill reading a book.
The downside is that the entrance ticket price was very high: 11 euros per adult, and 8 euros per child. For this reason I suggest entering the Park in the morning to enjoy it all day long.
I really would recommend visiting this fascinating park to people of all ages who want to have a terrific walk among mystery and monsters!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Entrance fees are tad expensive for what it is. Not too well sign posted within the park although the free map is helpful. Easy to imagine that it gets very busy over the weekend or other peak periods. However great entertainment for children and adults alike. Very well maintained and pleasant to walk through the lush, cool vegetation. Ideal for summer days. Gives a feeling of walking through Lord of the Rings settings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A parc with mysterious monsters , statues , and an inclined house. Good for a 2 hour stop nearby the beautiful village of civita di Bagnoregno .
The parc is from 1500 and combines nature with man made structures , there is a restaurant and a short guide handed out which is included in the entrance fee .
Very photogenic and beautiful for a walk

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fascinating. Beautiful gardens to wander around, really charming escapism. Happily lost 3 hours exploring. Good clean facilities on site & masses of parking. Not the parks fault but the behaviour of children charging around & screaming is intrusive, it's not a theme park.
