Wonderful place and enchanting panorama at the gates of Palazzo Orsini, the historic center and less than 5 minutes walk from the Parco dei Mostri. Excellent and well served typical local cuisine. I highly recommend?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poco distante dal centro di Bomarzo su una piccola terrazza si trova questo locale. Offrono vari antipasti di salumi e formaggi molto abbondanti e di ottima qualità. Anche le insalate ottime. I prezzi sono nella norma.
Not far from the center of Bomarzo on a small terrace is this restaurant. They offer various starters of very abundant and excellent quality cold cuts and cheeses. Great salads too. Prices are normal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo la visita al sorprendente Sacro Bosco di Bomarzo, siamo saliti in cima al paese, arroccato su uno sperone, dove dominano il Palazzo degli Orsini (gli antichi signori di Bomarzo, che nel XVI^ secolo commissionarano il Parco dei Mostri) e il Duomo. Appena sotto, in posizione panoramica per ammirare verso est colline, valli e forre, c'è il dehors di questo locale che, come altri offre una cucina del territorio e, quando possibile come in questo caso, anche panorami e scorci indimenticabili. E d'estate è bello mangiare all'aria aperta con persone con le quali si ama stare. Ottima scelta tra antipasti, primi, secondi e contorni. In sei abbiamo spaziato dal ricco antipasto di formaggi locali, agli umbrichi cacio e pepe, all'insalatona la bufala, ad alcune porzioni dei succulenti fiori di zucca con alici, alla costata di scottona. Un po'di vino, tanta acqua per domare la sete e caffè. Per meno di 15€ a persona. Con lo spettacolo della valle compreso! Ottimo!
After visiting the surprising Sacro Bosco di Bomarzo, we climbed to the top of the village, perched on a spur, where the Palazzo degli Orsini (the ancient lords of Bomarzo, who commissioned the Parco dei Mostri in the 16th century) and the Cathedral dominate. Just below, in a panoramic position to admire the hills, valleys and gorges to the east, there is the dehors of this restaurant which, like others, offers local cuisine and, when possible as in this case, also unforgettable views and glimpses. And in the summer it's nice to eat outdoors with people you love to be with. Excellent choice between appetizers, first, second and side dishes. Six of us ranged from the rich appetizer of local cheeses, to the umbrichi cheese and pepper, to the buffalo salad, to some portions of succulent courgette flowers with anchovies, to the scottona steak. A little wine, lots of water to quench thirst and coffee. For less than € 15 per person. With the spectacle of the valley included! Optimal!
