M	Massimiliano Spaccini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Corviano è un piccolo abitato rupestre situato nel territorio di Soriano nel cimino, considerate che con il paese di Soriano non c'entra nulla perché è a diversi km di distanza. Per andarci dovete andare alla località Il pallone e seguire la vecchia ortana fino alla località Il santarello ,poco prima del ristorante troverete una strada bianca con un cartello scritto corviano, prendete questa strada e fatela tutta fino a che arriverà a un fosso,con la macchina è guadabile ,io con la panda ci sono passato. Seguite la strada che salirà Arriverete a un piccolo spiazzo con una barra in ferro, lasciate la macchina e seguite il sentiero per 500 metri, troverete i ruderi di un castello, poco dopo arriverete al ciglio del burrone, seguitelo e troverete gli ingressi con le scale scolpite delle grotte, seguendo il sentiero a scendere arriverete ai ruderi di una chiesa e le tombe antropomorfe scavate nel terreno, poco dopo arriverete al fosso. Chi è attrezzato per il trekking può seguire i vari sentieri per arrivare alla selva del malano o altri siti nel territorio di Soriano ma, questa è un'altra storia. Solito consiglio salva vita fateli nelle giornate buone in autunno/inverno per via delle vipere attive in estate. Corviano is a small rocky settlement located in the territory of Soriano nel cimino, consider that it has nothing to do with the village of Soriano because it is several km away. Una chiesa, una necropoli con sepolture antropomorfe ed i resti di un castello medievale (periodo dal XI al XIV secolo). L’area presenta anche antiche abitazioni rupestri, realizzate lungo il margine della rupe, inizialmente con entrata parietale e successivamente modificate e migliorate con l’aggiunta di scale e l’ampliamento di alcuni ambienti. A place out of time where you can spend hours in contact with nature and history. A church, a necropolis with anthropomorphic burials and the remains of a medieval castle (period from the 11th to the 14th century). The area also features ancient cave dwellings, built along the edge of the cliff, initially with a wall entrance and subsequently modified and improved with the addition of stairs and the expansion of some rooms.
A	Andrea Lulli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo sito archeologico, dove ci si può arrivare attraverso il percorso 125, molto suggestivo ed una vera e propria avventura per i veri appassionati. Le grotte sono totalmente visitabili, peccato per le persone non rispettose che lasciano rifiuti. Attenzione per chi va con la famiglia, perché ci sono dei burroni molto alti. Beautiful archaeological site, where you can get there through the 125 route, very suggestive and a real adventure for true enthusiasts. The caves are totally open to visitors, shame about the disrespectful people who leave waste. Attention for those who go with the family, because there are very high ravines.

Da appassionato di escursionismo ho portato molti amici a visitare questo posto e tutti ne sono rimasti entusiasti. Si gode di un panorama unico nel suo genere, inoltre sono visitabili in tutta sicurezza gli insediamenti etruschi scavati nella roccia a strapiombo: un vero spettacolo. Per arrivare con la macchina è un po' difficoltoso, bisogna stare attenti allo sterrato con buche e fango. Anche il sentiero non è segnato molto bene, se non si sta attenti è facile perdersi... Però nonostante questo, che meraviglia! Corviano is a huge Etruscan settlement perched on a huge valley. As a hiking enthusiast I have brought many friends to visit this place and they all loved it. You can enjoy a unique panorama of its kind, moreover the Etruscan settlements dug into the sheer rock can be visited in complete safety: a real spectacle. To get there by car is a bit difficult, you have to be careful of the dirt road with holes and mud. The path is also not very well marked, if you are not careful it is easy to get lost ... But despite this, how wonderful!
s	sara lombardelli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Secondo noi ci sono due modi per arrivare: controllate bene il gps. A noi ci ha portate giù per una stradina di campagna Gino ad arrivare ad una fattoria. Abbiamo lasciato la macchina li, per continuare a piedi. Sentiero non segnalato, molto facile perdersi, tuttavia siamo riuscite dopo 2 ore di camminata a trovate le grotte di Corviano in cima al monte. Paesaggio spettacolare! Abbiamo notato che da sopra il monte vi era un cammino molto più semplice e segnalato, purtroppo non sappiamo da dove si arrivasse. In our opinion there are two ways to get there: check the GPS carefully. Gino took us down a country lane to arrive at a farm. We left the car there to continue on foot. Path not marked, very easy to get lost, however after 2 hours of walking we managed to find the Corviano caves at the top of the mountain. Spectacular landscape! We noticed that from above the mountain there was a much simpler and more signposted path, unfortunately we do not know where it came from.
