★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolo, ma ricco di reperti molto vari, interessante e completo il video introduttivo che descrive la storia del territorio e la collezione del museo; le didascalie delle teche avrebbero bisogno di alcuni aggiornamenti, ma hanno comunque il loro fascino. Ampia e particolare la collezione botanica.
 Small, but full of very varied finds, the introductory video describing the history of the territory and the museum's collection is interesting and complete; the captions of the cases would need some updates, but they still have their charm. The botanical collection is wide and particular.

Nice museum in the historic center of Ortisei which is spread over two floors.
There is a sector dedicated to historical wooden statues, archaeological finds, mineralogy and a sector with virtual reality dedicated to a prehistoric fish found in Mount Seceda: the Ichthyosaurus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein sehr informatives Museum und - entgegen einiger früherer Rezensionen- auch sehr anschaulich. Es wurde eine VR-Installation angeschafft, mit der man per VR-Brille in die Zeit des Fischsauriers versetzt wird. Dieser schwimmt plötzlich neben einem. Oben ist eine Installation, mit der man alte Zeichenreste in einer Kammer sehen kann. Natürlich ist das weniger ein Spaßmuseum für Kinder, aber eine tolle Ausstellungskombination zwischen Geologie, Fauna und Flora, Brauchtum und berühmten Grödnern. Hat alles gehalten, was erwartet wurde und mehr. Eine sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterin war auch da. Ein schöner und lehrreicher Besuch!
A very informative museum and - contrary to some previous reviews - also very descriptive. A VR installation was purchased that transports you to the time of the Fischsaurier using VR glasses. This suddenly swims next to you. Above is an installation that allows one to see ancient remains of signs in a chamber. Of course, this is less of a fun museum for children, but a great exhibition combination of geology, fauna and flora, customs and famous Val Gardena. Did everything that was expected and more. A very friendly employee was there too. A nice and educational visit!
