È possibile visitarla. Nella parte più bassa c’è l’info point, mentre salendo le scale si fa l’ingresso all’interno della torre.
Due ragazze ci hanno accolto e spiegato brevemente la storia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci sono tornato nuovamente e rettifico la recensione. Visitabile nella parte alta, ospitava in basso l'info point turistico che ora occupa un intero palazzo storico.
La torre quadrangolare è imponente, pare che un tempo fosse provvista di fossato e ponte levatoio, l'altezza notevole è impressionante nell'interno, svuotato dagli antichi piani in legno che la suddividevano . Per la sua altezza e la posizione strategica ha contribuito sin dalla prima metà del XIII secolo, insieme ai fortilizi di Mesagne, Oria e Uggiano Montefusco alla difesa di un ampia zona dell’Italia Meridionale comprendente la terra di Bari, il litorale Jonico e l’antica provincia di Terra d’Otranto. La volta è a crociera, i costoloni componenti sono realizzati in conci alternati bianchi e scuri. Quest'anno con una bella installazione floreale.
I went back again and I rectify the review. It can be visited in the upper part, at the bottom it housed the tourist info point which now occupies an entire historic building.
The quadrangular tower is imposing, it seems that once it was equipped with a moat and a drawbridge, the considerable height is impressive inside, emptied by the ancient wooden floors that divided it. Due to its height and strategic position it has contributed since the first half of the 13th century, together with the forts of Mesagne, Oria and Uggiano Montefusco, to the defense of a large area of Southern Italy including the land of Bari, the Ionian coast and the ancient province of Terra d'Otranto. The vault is cross, the component ribs are made of alternating white and dark ashlars. This year with a beautiful floral installation.
