β β β β β AMAZING MUSEUM! Absolutely astonishing! It's beautiful, well made and very informative. The only downside is that it is mostly in Italian and it sometimes misses the English translations which made it hard to keep up for us. Still a recommendation though

β β β β β Outstanding historical museum of the WW2. You can see original uniforms, patches, medals, weapons, and memories of real Italian, English, American, and Canadian soldiers. Items come from private collections. Halls are arranged in a very evocative way. Entrance ticket is very affordable.
In the second floor, you will have the chance to see authentic Madame Tussauds statues of Hitler, Roosevelt, Churchill, Mussolini, and Vittorio Emanuele (King of Italy).
The landing museum is the perfect place for children, visitors or casual tourists to make a leap in the past and remember war atrocities and heroic stories, cause we should never forget how much war is the worst way to build our future.

β β β β β This museum is a must when visiting Catania. The tour takes approx. 2 hours, costs 4 euros and offers a lot of stories, photos, documentaries and interactive contents.

β β β β β A very interesting place which I definitely recommend. This museum is filled to the brim with artifacts, recordings, weapons and uniforms (even letters and diaries, which I am quite fond of) all hailing directly from the front lines of 1943 Sicily. It is very well kept and it was truly a pleasure to visit. Something I wasn't expecting, but I thoroughly enjoyed, was the bomb shelter immersive experience. Overall a wonderful experience.

Don't lose the exposition of war pics of Phil Stern concerning the landing in Gela and other stories through his objective...
