La carne arrostita alla brace è buonissima e la parmigiana da premio Oscar! Se avete la fortuna di incontrare la Zia Rosa, la fondatrice, la vostra serata sarà divertente. Fanno anche karaoke, uno spasso! A cheap place, served by nice and informal people Very low prices, traditional Catania foods. The grilled meat is delicious and the parmigiana is an Oscar winner! If you are lucky enough to meet Aunt Rosa, the founder, your evening will be fun. They also do karaoke, a blast!

Hubby and I dropped in here for some late lunch, hubby had a plate of pasta (they were chucking it out) I had 4 small & thin slices of omelette, we had a small carafe of house wine. The old blonde lady was in charge of money and she charged us 20 euros, I asked how much the (single) pasta dish cost and she then pretended not to understand. I reckon a local would have been charge less than 8 euros. It is a shame as the other staff were lovely and helpful, but the old lady's greed left us feeling really ripped off. The cafe is opposite the war museum and cinema museum, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Yes no one speaks English. Yes owner Rosa is a delightful, first class character! And yes, the food is delicious!!! Go with a sense of humor and adventure, and enjoy the wonderful experience!
