★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were shown around this fascinating little museum by a woman who is part of the misericordia. It is basically two things in one - first a sample of donations made to the order, and secondly a potted history of the misericordia. It was very interesting to see the religious imagery alongside the advances in medical assistance. It's quite difficult to find the entrance (and everyone was a little surprised we were looking for this museum and not the museum of the duomo) - go through the automatic doors (they only trigger if you go very close), turn right and get in the lift to floor 4.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delightful small museum, very thought-provoking and fascinating history. It was pretty much empty when I went in and it was a welcome break from touristy areas. The staff were all lovely and helpful too. Be sure to leave some donation for this very deserving voluntary organisation! Highly recommended!
