★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museo molto bello ,che illustra e documenta la vita dei monaci della badia di S. Salvatore attraverso : ambienti e oggetti che sono di notevole intersse storico e artisico.Molto interessante la raccolta di libri e i codici miniati , e ' stato piacevole poter osservare anche cose meno antiche ,che sono pero' documenti interssanti e fra questi ho notato un abito da donna utilizzato per partecipare alle processioni , ben conservato e bello.
 Very nice museum, which illustrates and documents the life of the monks of the abbey of S. Salvatore through: environments and objects that are of considerable historical and artistic interest. less ancient, which are however interesting documents and among these I noticed a woman's dress used to participate in the processions, well preserved and beautiful.

Il monastero di San Salvatore fu fondato da monaci Benedettini intorno al IX / X secolo, nel XII secolo fu ricostruita la chiesa, il campanile di alberese con inserti di serpentino verde risale al 1258. Con decreto Napoleonico nel 1808 il monastero fu chiuso, i beni venduti e la chiesa divenne parrocchia. Nell'interno austero fà bella mostra l'altare con dietro un coro ligneo.
Interesting small museum. The monastery of San Salvatore was founded by Benedictine monks around the IX / X century, in the XII century the church was rebuilt, the Alberese bell tower with green serpentine inserts dates back to 1258. With Napoleonic decree in 1808 the monastery was closed, the assets sold and the church became a parish. In the austere interior, the altar with a wooden choir stands out.
