 This is a suggestive place that deserves to be experienced totally. The building can symbolize the seafaring tradition of the island of Salina, but also its intimate commercial vocation. Salt and sea are two characterizing elements for culturally understanding every aspect of the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Why are all the museums on Salina are closed?? As well as the museum de sale as museum archeolica.. Such a pity! And maybe there is not enough information known about. Even the locals do not know about it.. Such a pity again!! Such an interesting history is worth to be known. Ciao anja brasser
