★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnificent collection of amazing objects spanning eons, starting with a 28,000 years old Paleolithic Venus, a baffling amount of beautiful Picentes ('Italo-Celtic') objects, Greek and Roman artifacts including 200bc glass work. A must see!

Building had lovely original features and a fabulous view over the bay
Unfortunately, all information in Italian only!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is some things to see, but from a regional Italy museum, that has a rich culture I expected something more. Also the information in English exists only a little and the bronze statues from the cities gate are hidden somewhere in the corner where a person would not imagine to go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just because they're situated within the area of Roman, Greek, Phoenician and Cypriot influences; it's no excuse to have the best exhibition of grave and other archaeological finds. And to rub it in it's in Pallazzo with wonderful ceiling decorations. It's just not fair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible museum you could spend all day in. Unfortunately I don't read Italian so much of the information was lost on me but the objects tell a story on their own. Beautiful displays and the building itself is fascinating.
