★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Appena sopra il rifugio Piancavallone si trova la cima del Monte Todano dalla quale si scorge la croce dell'avis. Il panorama che si può ammirare da questa cima è fantastico, nonostante non ci si trovi ad una grande altezza. Da una parte si possono ammirare i laghi e dall'altra il cuore della Val Grande.
Just above the Piancavallone refuge is the top of Monte Todano from which you can see the cross of the avis. The panorama that can be admired from this peak is fantastic, even though you are not at a great height. On one side you can admire the lakes and on the other the heart of the Val Grande.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partendo da Miazzina si raggiunge abbastanza facilmente, sono circa un paio d'ore di cammino.
Dalla cima si gode un panorama eccellente, nelle giornate più limpide su può vedere anche il Monviso
Starting from Miazzina it can be reached quite easily, it takes about a couple of hours of walking.
From the top you can enjoy an excellent view, on clear days you can also see the Monviso

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esperienza fantastica! Con 1h30 di camminata si arriva in cima. Si inizia all'interno del bosco e poi verso l'ultima mezzora si apre e c'è una vista sul lago e sul Monte Rosa pazzesca. Alcuni tratti per chi soffre di vertigini potrebbe non andare troppo bene però ne vale la pena! Adatto a tutti, con calma si va su!
Fantastic experience! With a 1h30 walk you reach the top. It starts inside the forest and then towards the last half hour it opens up and there is a crazy view of the lake and Monte Rosa. Some stretches for vertigo sufferers may not go too well but it's worth it! Suitable for everyone, take it easy!
