★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi uitzichtpunt om naartoe te hiken. Bij goed weer zie je vier meren !!! Je kunt de auto op ongeveer 2,5 - 3 km onder de top parkeren nabij alpe ompio. Vanaf daar loopt een pad naar Monte Faiè. Doe wel stevige wandelschoenen aan want het laatste stuk is erg steil. Het pad loopt grotendeels door een bos.
 Nice viewpoint to hike to. In good weather you can see four lakes !!! You can park the car about 2.5 - 3 km below the summit near alpe ompio. From there a path leads to Monte Faiè. Wear sturdy walking shoes because the last part is very steep. The path runs largely through a forest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monte sopra Mergozzo che si raggiunge dopo circa 1000 metri di dislivello. Bella salita un po impegnativa. Nelle belle giornate vista stupenda.

Il percorso partendo da Bracchio e moderatamente impegnativo, ci sono dei brevi passaggi un po' esposti,nulla di eccessivo , la salita va presa con il giusto ritmo, sono circa 1000m di dislivello con pochi tratti pianeggianti.
Excellent panoramic view!
The path starting from Bracchio is moderately demanding, there are short passages a little exposed, nothing excessive, the climb must be taken at the right pace, there are about 1000m of altitude with a few flat sections.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing views on the lakes (Maggiore, Orta, Mergozzo). Nice hiking round trip from/to Mergozzo. The constant ascent is quite nice compared to other mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a straightforward hike but worth it for the view. Following a short drive from Lago di Maggiore up a windy road you arrive at the end where it's park on the side of the road as you can. From there a steady climb, steepening the higher you get. There are 2 routes up, short and sharp as we did, or longer but a more steady climb. From the top some stunning views and peaceful as not many making the hike up.
An alternate route down was not so well marked and more of a goat track but worth it.
