E	Enrico Ripamonti on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Anche questo santuario è stato costruito intorno ad una primitiva cappella mariana dove - secondo la tradizione - una pastorella muta venne più volte miracolata dalla Madonna. Il progetto (del milanese Attilio Arrigoni) era decisamente ambizioso e prevedeva un'imponente costruzione barocca basata su un'insolita pianta ottagonale e croce greca. I lavori iniziarono nel 1674 e furono chiusi solo nel 1774 senza che l'edificio fosse, peraltro, completamente terminato. Nel '900 il santuario però decadde fino al punto di essere abbandonato e chiuso al culto. Solo recentemente è stato oggetto di importanti restauri che non ne hanno garantito però la regolare apertura. L'opera d'arte più importante è, senza dubbio, l'altare realizzato nella seconda metà del 1700 con marmo nero arabescato ed in cui domina come ancona un affresco della Vergine con il Bambino. Secondo alcuni cultori dell'esoterismo il santuario sarebbe dotato di particolari significati ed "energie". This sanctuary was also built around a primitive Marian chapel where - according to tradition - a mute shepherdess was miraculously miraculoused by the Madonna several times. The project (by the Milanese Attilio Arrigoni) was decidedly ambitious and included an imposing Baroque construction based on an unusual octagonal plan and a Greek cross. The works began in 1674 and were closed only in 1774 without the building being, however, completely finished. In the 1900s, however, the sanctuary declined to the point of being abandoned and closed to worship. Only recently has it been the subject of important restorations which have not however guaranteed its regular opening. The most important work of art is, without doubt, the altar made in the second half of the 1700s with black arabesque marble and in which a fresco of the Virgin and Child dominates as an ancona. According to some scholars of esotericism, the sanctuary is endowed with particular meanings and "energies".

Il nome deriva dalla Torre di avvistamento che sorge a pochi metri dalla chiesa. Church used as a repository of life-size compositions for the crib. Unfortunately it is always closed and not open to visitors. The name derives from the sighting tower that rises a few meters from the church.
