★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa fu costruita nel 1600 in ampliamento di una più antica cappella posta su uno sperone roccioso. La posizione elevata - quasi a proteggere dall'alto le case - è comune ad altri santuari mariani edificati nelle vicine località di Migiandone e Ornavasso. La funzione protettiva della chiesa è rivelata anche dalla sua leggenda di fondazione secondo la quale una luce divina partita da questo luogo condusse in salvo due barcaioli in difficoltà sulla Toce.
Bello il panorama e bella anche la vecchia mulattiera che sale dal paese.
 The church was built in 1600 as an extension of an older chapel located on a rocky outcrop. The elevated position - almost to protect houses from above - is common to other Marian shrines built in the nearby towns of Migiandone and Ornavasso. The protective function of the church is also revealed by its foundation legend according to which a divine light from this place led two rescued boatmen to safety on the Toce.
The panorama is beautiful and the old mule track that goes up from the village is also beautiful.
