★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupenda unica ubicata non lontano da piazza Garibaldi. Pianta ottagonale ecco perché viene chiamata la chiesa della rotonda. Vale la pensa di visitarla.
 Superb unique located not far from Piazza Garibaldi. Octagonal plan which is why it is called the church of the rotunda. It is worthwhile to visit it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Particolarissima chiesa a pianta ottagonale, di fuori modesta ma una volta entrati.....che spettacolo!!!!!
La costruzione di questa chiesa votiva fu decisa nel 1594 per onorare una miracolosa immagine raffigurante la Vergine che, con la mano destra, abbraccia Gesù seduto sulle sue ginocchia e, con la mano sinistra, tiene una rosa rossa.
Effigie che, ancora oggi, si trova all'interno della chiesa sull'altare ed è particolarmente venerata dai rodigini.
Normalmente il biglietto di ingresso costerebbe 2 € (per i minori di 14 anni 1 €), ma attualmente è ad entrata libera.
Da vedere assolutamente!!!!
Very particular church with an octagonal plan, modest outside but once inside ..... what a sight !!!!!
The construction of this votive church was decided in 1594 to honor a miraculous image depicting the Virgin who, with her right hand, embraces Jesus sitting on her lap and, with her left hand, holds a red rose.
An effigy that, still today, is found inside the church on the altar and is particularly venerated by the inhabitants of Rovigo.
Normally the entrance ticket would cost € 2 (€ 1 for children under 14), but currently it is free.
A must see !!!!
