★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa a tre navate, con elegante facciata in stile neoclassico, all'interno pregevoli altari laterali con opere pittoriche e marmoree di notevole pregio. A sinistra dell'abside cappella con lacerti di affresco risalente al XIII secolo, sicuramente il ciclo pittorico più antico che ci sia a Rovigo.
Church with three naves, with an elegant neoclassical facade, inside valuable side altars with valuable pictorial and marble works. To the left of the apse chapel with fragments of fresco dating back to the 13th century, certainly the oldest pictorial cycle in Rovigo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il parcheggio a pagamento !!!!!!! se un fedele deve pagare per andare a messa oppure a una cerimonia non si può vedere, se la chiesa non vuole che nessuno parcheggi all'interno ci sono le sbarre basta chiudere...
Paid parking !!!!!!! if a believer has to pay to go to mass or a ceremony you cannot see it, if the church does not want anyone to park inside there are bars just close ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erbaut in gotischen Stiel wurde San Francesco in den Jahren 1297 bis 1300, den Franziskanerkloster angegliedert. Der Glockenturm wurde 1520 erbaut und die zentrale Apsis 1533 weiter verlängert. Durch umfangreiche Umbauten 1827-1837 blieb von dem ursprünglichen Baustil nicht viel übrig. Die klassizistische Fassade entstand 1896. Der Besuch lohnt sich –berühmte Altarbilder.
Built in Gothic style, San Francesco was annexed to the Franciscan monastery between 1297 and 1300. The bell tower was built in 1520 and the central apse was further extended in 1533. Extensive renovations in 1827-1837 left little of the original architectural style. The classicist facade was built in 1896. The visit is worthwhile - famous altarpieces.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi sono immersa nella pace e tranquillità dell'Abbazia, completamente circondata da prati, campi, alberi, piante e fiori. All'interno del chiostro è stato allestito l'interessante museo della civiltà contadina. Sono a disposizione guide nei giorni festivi, mentre su appuntamento nei giorni feriali. Consiglio la visita a chi cerca un posto tranquillo e meditativo.
I immersed myself in the peace and tranquility of the Abbey, completely surrounded by meadows, fields, trees, plants and flowers. The interesting museum of peasant civilization has been set up inside the cloister. Guides are available on holidays, while by appointment on weekdays. I recommend the visit to those looking for a quiet and meditative place.
