Der Paduaner Girolamo Frigimelica entwarf den heutigen barocken Dom 1696, gebaut wurde bis 1729. Das Portal blieb leider unvollendet. Ein Juwel im Kirchenraum –der bronzene Osterleuchter von Desiderio da Firenze (Mitte 16.Jh.)
Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es wenige, Rovigo besser mit dem Fahrrad erkunden.
The main, largest church in Rovigo is the Dom Santo Stefano. At this point there was a predecessor church since 964. The Paduan Girolamo Frigimelica designed today's baroque cathedral in 1696, it was built until 1729. The portal was unfortunately not completed.
