Escursione molto impegnativa ma remunerativa, interamente nella natura selvaggia. Necessari ramponcini per ultimi tratti sulla neve prima della vetta. 8.5.2021 Round trip from Alpe Quaggione, about 7 hours for about 19km with 1,450 meters in altitude. Very demanding but rewarding excursion, entirely in the wilderness. Crampons are required for the last stretches on the snow before reaching the summit.

L	Luca Cirea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Panorama fantastico, ma spesso in vetta soffia una bella tramontana, quindi si consiglia un abbigliamento pesante da indossare una volta in cima. Ascesa impegnativa qualora si sia precedentemente saliti dall'Alpe Quaggione al Monte Cerano e al Poggio Croce. Il percorso meno impegnativo provenendo dall'Alpe Quaggione prevede di raggiungere l'Alpe Morello Sopra e da questa la diruta Alpe Cappella, quindi salire fino in cresta alla Bocchetta di Bagnone (1589 m) e poi, rimanendo sempre in cresta, proseguire fino a La Bocchetta (1904 m). Da qui si continua a salire su di una mulattiera che percorre diversi tornanti. Se si prosegue verso nord fino in cresta, andando poi verso ovest, è possibile passare per l'Eyehorn (2131 m) e successivamente il Monte Massone (2161 m), se invece si inizia a tagliare a mezza costa, una volta giunti in cresta, l'Eyehorn rimane sulla destra (est), mentre il Monte Massone è a sinistra (ovest). Alla base della croce di vetta, in un vano, è riposto il diario di vetta. Un'altra variante consiste nel deviare verso sud-ovest, in piano, passando per l'area risorgiva del Lago di Massone e poi, una volta giunti sulla cresta meridionale, salire al Monte Massone. Challenging ascent if you have previously ascended from Alpe Quaggione to Monte Cerano and Poggio Croce. The less demanding route coming from Alpe Quaggione involves reaching Alpe Morello Sopra and from this the ruined Alpe Cappella, then climb up to the crest to Bocchetta di Bagnone (1589 m) and then, always remaining on the ridge, continue to La Bocchetta (1904 m). From here you continue to climb on a mule track that goes through several hairpin bends. Dislivello elevato partendo da Luzzogno, la strada è sbarrata a favore degli autorizzati e il parcheggio di trova a 750 mslm. If there is no fog, the view is wonderful. Summit book present.
