Presso la loro casa sono presenti due monaci benedettini che, oltre alla custodia del Santuario ed il prezioso servizio sacerdotale è spirituale offerto ai fedeli, offrono l'opportunità di acquistare i loro prodotti salutari.
La Congregazione Vallombrosana è una comunità di monaci benedettini (O.S.B.V.) fondata da san Giovanni Gualberto nel 1039, che prende il nome dalla località di Vallombrosa (FI).
I vallombrosani sono noti per la lotta contro la simonia ovvero il commercio peccaminoso di beni sacri spirituali, per la loro posizione fortemente contraria alla mondanità della Chiesa e per la sensibilità al Creato.
