Vista mozzafiato da sopra la croce dove puoi vedere l'intera cittadina di Montichiari,ma non da meno e lo spettacolo che si vede anche dalla pieve. Andateci una domenica invece di andare in un centro commerciale Nice quiet place and surrounded by greenery. Ideal for quiet walks with friends or even with children. Le bimbe hanno così approfittato del bel parco giochi ivi disponibile. Beautiful Romanesque church located on a hill of Montichiari (Colle San Pancrazio) immersed in a public park that can also be used for picnics, as we did, on the occasion of the last party on 2 June. The girls thus took advantage of the beautiful playground available there.

Nel territorio di Montichiari è ampiamente testimoniata l'età romana da una diffusa presenza di insediamenti rurali (V secolo a.C.) composti da ville rustiche e piccole necropoli. L'alto medioevo è caratterizzato dallo stanziamento di popolazioni longobarde (VI-VII secolo d.c) risalenti a questo periodo; sempre qui sono stati individuati più di 300 reperti sul monte S. Zeno. L'atto di nascita del comune di Montichiari risale al 1167; il periodo comunale durò fino al 1237, quando l'esercito di Federico II e di Ezzelino da Romano mise a ferro e fuoco il territorio; nel 1348 il territorio venne occupato dai Visconti. Pandolfo III Malatesta occupò la località nel 1404, dopo aver preso Brescia e infine passò sotto il dominio della Repubblica di Venezia nei primi anni del XV secolo.[1] Purtroppo era chiusa ,ma gia all' esterno nella sua struttura lineare e compatta e'' un bell' esempio dello stile semplice ed elegante del romanico...⛪?✋?. In the territory of Montichiari the Roman age is amply testified by a widespread presence of rural settlements (5th century BC) consisting of rustic villas and small necropolises. The early Middle Ages are characterized by the settlement of Lombard populations (VI-VII century AD) dating back to this period; more than 300 artifacts have also been found here on Mount S. Zeno. The birth certificate of the municipality of Montichiari dates back to 1167; the communal period lasted until 1237, when the army of Frederick II and Ezzelino da Romano put the territory to fire and sword; in 1348 the territory was occupied by the Visconti.
