Mi piace anche il fatto che fa cose diverse e quindi si può trovare il regalo giusto per ventenni (mio nipote ha molto apprezzato un suo braccialetto), per signore di mezza età (ho ricominciato a portare anelli comprandone uno suo), che per ottantenni (compleanno di mamma e zia)! Per chi cerca un gioiello non comune e unico è il posto giusto :-) Federico is a passionate craftsman of his profession, as demonstrated by his creations and the desire and ability he has to tell the story of its construction. I also like the fact that it does different things and therefore you can find the right gift for twenty-year-olds (my nephew really appreciated one of his bracelets), for middle-aged ladies (I started wearing rings again and bought one of his own), and for eighty-year-olds ( birthday of mom and aunt)! For those looking for an uncommon and unique jewel this is the right place :-)

We stumbled upon Federico at work in his studio on our last day before returning home to Scotland (11 th september 2020) and were fascinated by his work so wandered in. He was so lovely, not pushy in any way and his craftsmanship was wonderful, so many beautiful pieces! In the end we purchased a ring each . Mine is silver with quarzo naturale (citrino). I absolutely love it and it will always remind me of my time in Florence. The owner Federico is without a doubt one of the kindest and warmest people I have ever met, and it is such a pleasure watching a master work before your eyes. It was sad walking along this street and seeing how many fellow artisans were forced to close up shop. I am very thankful Federico and his beautiful jewelry are still around to enjoy! I couldn’t resist purchasing a few pieces (two pairs of earrings and also a gorgeous leaf ring that’s pictured) but deciding which ones out of all the lovely options was certainly difficult. Like the “pezzo unico” jewellery Federico makes both he and his shop are “one of a kind”!

I cannot narrow down nor pinpoint a specific item from his many collections (which vary greatly from one to the other), but all have one thing in common; the artisan jeweler’s passion, love and imagination for his creations. Federico was extremely patient and kind while trying to find a perfect item for me to give to my partner as a special gift. He listened patiently to everything that I came up with to describe my partner’s taste and somehow managed to understand even from my vague layman’s description what exactly I was envisioning and looking for, something that I never thought I could find anywhere. He passionately spent three hours with me explaining in detail the process behind everyone of his brilliant creations.
