★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccolo fornitissimo negozio a pochi metri da Piazza della Signoria a Firenze. Uno dei pochi rimasti in Italia che vende ancora carte e mappe in formato cartaceo (anche online). Da visitare per chi come me è un collezionista di mappe e carte. Molto gentile e disponibile il ragazzo addetto alla vendita.
Small well-stocked shop a few meters from Piazza della Signoria in Florence. One of the few left in Italy that still sells papers and maps in paper format (also online). A must visit for someone like me who is a collector of maps and cards. The sales guy was very kind and helpful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel negozio di mappe e carte. Unica notazione non l'ho trovato subito perché sull'insegna sopra alla porta c'è scritto "Change" e sulla strada c'è un cartello con i cambi e pertanto non lo avevo riconosciuto come libreria.
Nice map and card shop. The only notation I did not find immediately because on the sign above the door it says "Change" and on the road there is a sign with the changes and therefore I had not recognized it as a bookshop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Che delusione!!! Ho consigliato al commesso di non apporre l'etichetta del negozio sulle cartine topografiche perché per gli appassionati coprire la scala e il nome del cartografo è un peccato. Ha risposto un po' risentito che è inevitabile.
La verità è che l'etichetta copre il prezzo, 8 € a fronte dei 12,90 che ho pagato.
What a disappointment!!! I advised the clerk not to put the shop label on topographic maps because it is a pity for enthusiasts to cover the scale and the name of the cartographer. He responded somewhat resentfully that it is inevitable.
The truth is that the label covers the price, € 8 compared to the € 12.90 I paid.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is offering a “no commission” money exchange however his rates are significantly worse than even that found in the main squares. Additionally quite rude to other customers when I was there. AVOID IF POSSIBLE!
