Del castello rimangono solo le mura, non ci sono stanze arredate eccetto la piccola mostra dei castelli della lunigiana.

Of the castle only the walls remain, there are no furnished rooms except the small exhibition of the castles of Lunigiana.

Beautiful castle attached to the village, visit it the entrance ticket costs as much as a coffee and helps to keep the interest alive.

The castle, the cylindrical tower and the historic core of Malgrate are very suggestive. The castle could perhaps be made more attractive with some initiative that enhances it a little better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il castello è tenuto bene, anche se le parti visitabili non sono molte è comunque un bel posto da visitare. Anche il centro abitato è molto bello e caratteristico.
The castle is well kept, even if the parts that can be visited are not many, it is still a nice place to visit. The inhabited center is also very beautiful and characteristic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The castle was abandoned during the 1800s; uninhabited, it was a farm shed for many years. Today it is open to the public during the summer, as well as for the famous Living Nativity Scene in December. We recommend a walk around the battlements and a visit to the central tower.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very nice castle/village. The village can be visited for free. you do have to pay entrance fee to visit the castle. I did think the village was good enough ;-), so I skipped the castle
