Beautiful church ... But all left to itself, it is not clear where one of the oldest finds in the area is (in the photo).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ San Geminiano is my favourite church in Pontremoli. It has a timeless feel about it. Don't miss th painting to the right of the altar with a detail of Pontremoli beset by flood and tempest. Outside in the Piazzetta is where Frederick 2 had his minister Piero della Vigna's eyes put out.
