Lo scultore pontremolese Luciano Preti con un gruppo di persone lanciò alla fine del XX secolo questa idea che fu raccolta dai comuni di Pontremoli e di Corniglio e portò alla sua realizzazione. La costruzione, in pietra arenaria e stile romanico, si colloca in modo naturale sulla sella del valico, dove sembra essere stata presente da sempre, tra il verde dei prati e l'azzurro del cielo. Peccato per la strada dissestata da entrambi i lati, in particolare su quello emiliano, che richiede di moderare la velocità e di prestare molta attenzione. Looking at it, it does not occur to us that this small church, named after the Madonna dell'Orsaro, could have been built only in 2003. The Pontremolese sculptor Luciano Preti with a group of people launched this idea at the end of the 20th century, which was collected by the municipalities of Pontremoli and Corniglio and led to its realization. The building, in sandstone and Romanesque style, is placed naturally on the saddle of the pass, where it seems to have always been present, between the green of the meadows and the blue of the sky. Too bad for the rough road on both sides, especially the Emilian one, which requires you to moderate speed and pay close attention.

I got on the Z1000 motorcycle, but I don't recommend it! Up to Marra the roads are good (Yes, only if you have enduro) the view is fabulous!

Da qui sfruttando i sentieri si può raggiungere Lagdei anche in MTB o solo a piedi seguire il crinale e arrivare al Monte Marmagna. Located at the Cirone pass with a view of Mount Orsaro.
